General Manager, Strategic Partnerships
Higgsfield · Almaty, Kazakhstan · San Francisco, California, United States · full time
Why work at Higgsfield AI?
Higgsfield AI is the fastest-scaling generative AI company in history, hitting $500M in annual revenue run rate, 25M+ users worldwide, 6M+ generations per day, and powering 390 of Fortune 500 brands.
We’re building at the absolute frontier of AI-powered video creation and next-generation creative tools. Joining Higgsfield means becoming part of a high-impact team shaping the future of AI-native experiences, at a company that isn’t just moving fast, but rewriting what fast looks like.
Why this role exists
A very large share of Higgsfield’s capital goes into compute. GPU procurement, deal economics, the financial planning around it — today that entire function effectively sits on one person’s desk.
We’re not hiring someone to explain the business to the board. We’re hiring someone to drive $100M+ strategic deals end to end: find them, model them, negotiate them, close them, and own what happens after. The financial work matters because it’s how you win a deal and how you know it was worth winning — not because someone needs a deck.
This is the largest line in our cost base and the surface area is enormous, so you’re in company-level decisions from week one. What the role demands is energy and complete ownership. Nobody hands you a process, a pipeline or a mandate here. You take them.
What you’ll do
Own GPU and compute economics
- Engage and maintain relationships post-deal close, leading delivery of strategic, co-owned initiatives (e.g., co-marketing, case studies, presence at events/conferences, etc.
- Become one of the most knowledgeable people in the world on the GPU and AI-compute market: pricing, supply, contract structures, who is building what and at what cost. Through research, and through showing up in person.
- Source, structure and negotiate compute and infrastructure agreements — capacity commitments, long-term supply, colocation, energy-linked deals.
- Build the cost models that say whether a deal is good, and challenge the ones that say it is.
Build and challenge the financial picture
- Build and stress-test P&L and FP&A models at company level.
- Own forecasting for the largest line in our cost base.
- Work directly with the CEO and the co-founders on the development strategy and financial planning.
Shape major strategic deals
- Model the economics of large partnerships and identify where the value actually sits.
- Translate commercial decisions into a financial story leadership, the board and investors can act on.
Requirements
- McKinsey / BCG / Bain-type background, or equivalent depth from corporate finance, investment banking, infrastructure PE, or a strategic-finance role at a fast-scaling company. Consulting alumni at Engagement Manager / Principal level and above.
- You can build a three-statement model, an FP&A forecast and a deal case yourself — and find the error in someone else’s.
- You understand the economics of large strategic deals: capacity, offtake, TCO, capex versus opex, contract structure.
- At least 3 years working in international markets — at a global company, or in a role where you owned deals or operations across multiple countries.
- Able to become a genuine domain expert fast, from a standing start, on something technical.
- Heavy international travel. The GPU market is a relationship market and it does not happen online.
- Fluent English and Russian.
Nice to have
- A technical or quantitative undergraduate degree — engineering, physics, applied maths, CS — underneath the commercial track.
- Procurement, supply-chain or capacity-planning exposure at real scale.
- Time at a cloud, GPU, data centre, semiconductor or energy company, including on the commercial side.
- You’ve already made the jump from consulting or banking into an operating role at a startup.
Coming from the compute side instead?
If you’ve bought or sold GPU capacity at a cloud, neocloud, data centre or hardware company and you can hold your own on the numbers, this is your role too. We care that you know the market and can move a deal, not which chair you sat in while you learned it.
What we offer
- Competitive base salary in USD, based on your experience, skills, and the scope of the role.
- Equity participation through the company’s stock option program, giving you the opportunity to share in Higgsfield’s long-term growth.
- Relocation support for candidates moving from another city or country.
- A highly collaborative, fast-paced environment where you can work directly with experienced leaders and have a meaningful impact on the product and company.
- Opportunities for professional growth, ownership, and career development as the company scales.
- Company-provided equipment, meals, transportation, and other office benefits.
Location: Almaty or San Francisco (onsite) , with heavy international travel and regular trips to the other hub. Our team works from the office six days per week. We believe in-person collaboration is an important part of how we move quickly, solve complex problems, and build strong teams.
Also hiring: GM, International Partnerships — same seniority, focused on enterprise B2B partnerships and commercial execution across verticals. If your background is commercial rather than analytical, apply there instead.
